If you read the books about raising twins, or go to any meetings of a parents-of-multiples group, you'll hear a lot about "SURVIVING THE FIRST YEAR." Here we all are at the half-way point:

To celebrate making it this far in one piece, I made Dane some chocolate chip devil's food cupcakes, fed Duncan and Tristan some rice cereal, and then nearly let the kids kill themselves playing with wooden spoons. Whoops.

Happy half-birthday, boys!

PS -- Duncan came home from the hospital Monday. On Friday, Dane took both babies to the pediatrician. Their doctor couldn't tell which baby had been sick; when she was directed to the proper baby she couldn't tell which foot had been infected. Her conclusion: Duncan is doing fantastic. More appointments next week, plus 14 more days of antibiotics, but everything is going well.

They look so sweet and are getting big so quickly :-) Glad to hear everyone is back into healthiness. Good luck with the solid food adventure! At least you don't have to worry about food in the hair yet; tonight we tackled mac-n-cheese in the hair, nose, down the pants, and hopefully in the stomach.
And those little bouncy chair thingies are so stylish :)
Rob, the bouncy seats are without question one of the best gifts I've ever gotten. THANK YOU!!!
I'm glad I could help without being puked upon!
It's not that I'm glad you moved away for the projectile vomit portion of the boys' lives, but I have vivid memory of friends' babies treating my shoulder as a target. One gets used to it, but still...
Anyway, you're more than welcome for the bouncy seats. ;)
