I promise to stop writing posts that are just collections of things the kids are saying . . . eventually. They are in such a crazy whirlwind of language acquisition and all kinds of new abilities. Here are some nutty things they've said lately:
Duncan: "No Robert Frost!" He didn't want to hear Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening again.
Duncan: "Duncan wants to drink pear juice please, Mom. In glass." He'd thoughtfully gotten a can of pears out of the pantry for me.
Tristan: "The Moon has ORBITS! Mommy, OR-bits! Moon has Orbits!"
Duncan: "Let's go outside! See crescent moon! See crescent moon rise!!"
And, of course, there's the constant barrage of wanting to ride tractors of all sorts: Oooooo, white tractor! Green tractor! Big GREEN tractor! Orange tractor! Paw rides lawn mowers! Paw cuts BIG GRASS! Paw has big tractor! Duncan ride Paw's orange tractor! No TRISTAN ride Paw's tractor!!
And so on.
There is also (hallelujah) some progress on the potty training front.
