I feel pretty huge, but every week the doctor pats me on the shoulder and says, "You ain't seen nothin' yet." That's usually after he congratulates me for still being pregnant and tells me to keep resting. We had our monthly detailed ultrasound on Monday and our weekly checkup on Tuesday. Everything continues to look very good. I don't have any indications of preterm labor. The babies are right on target in terms of their size and their growth is evenly matched, meaning everybody is getting enough food. Everyone except maybe me. I got very sick to my stomach for a couple days and couldn't eat much, so my weight back slid a little bit. The doctor wasn't annoyed, since the babies are doing fine. He thinks I was sick because of my stomach being physically kicked and punched and disarranged. During the two days I wasn't eating (or sleeping) much, first one baby then the other turned from being breech to being head down. So hopefully, they'll stay where they are and my organs won't be subjected to similar gymnastics for a while. Maybe they'd be less energetic if they knew that they were threatening their food supply!
In non-baby news, my great uncle and his wife visited us over the weekend. They could only stay for a few hours, but we had a fun visit.

Finally, the big excitement at our house Monday was that we managed to photograph the elusive crane (or egret?) who visits the pond outside of our apartment.

Always good to hear that you and babies are doing well. I had to get use to the doctor telling me congratulations for being pregnant still at the end too. Just wait until the nurses start saying "good job for peeing in the cup!" Sheesh.
